We are committed to the continuous review and improvement of our environmental policies to ensure that all of our activities protect the environment.
In order to deliver this commitment Coldwater Seafood strives to comply with all relevant UK and EU environmental legislation – as a minimum level of performance. We are committed to the education and training of our employees in understanding environmental issues and the environmental effects of their activities and we encourage their engagement developing our policies.

Environmental Objectives
Coldwater Seafood has recognised the specific impact that we have on the environment and we aim to:
- Reduce our energy use and the amount of carbon emitted from all our business operations by using effective monitoring and robust target reductions.
- Monitor and reduce the amount of water that we use in our production site and to find possible ways to reuse water in our business.
- Reduce the amount of waste produced from our business operations and find innovative new ways to recycle waste and to continue to make sure that no waste is sent to landfill.
- Ensure that all raw materials for packaging are sourced from sustainable sources or contain recycled materials.
- Use the most efficient mode of transport possible in every aspect of our business and to ensure that all travel is essential only.
