Training and Development

  • Continuous development is key to Coldwater that is why training begins from the start of an employee joining us.
  • Firstly they will receive a comprehensive induction which will give them everything they need to get started.
  • They will be given all the necessary training to do their tasks safely and effectively.
  • They will also be given a chance to grow their skills in the working environment and progress internally– starting with the opportunity to gain a NVQ II in Food Manufacturing.
  • We have two learning centres, one for each site each with a computer suite where they can sign up for a variety of classes.
  • We work together with Grimsby Institute within the Coldwater Excellence Programme offering from ESOL to Foundation degrees.
